The Natural Virility Clinic  Andropause or Male Menopause

Energy and Vitality in Your Middle and Later Years

My spellchecker doesn’t acknowledge the word “Andropause”.  Nor does the  medical world!  Women’s menopause on the other hand is a hot agenda.  The HRT business is worth billions to the pharmaceuticals industry; the supplements industry is cashing in; there are hundreds of books and web sites on how to live with menopause.

But what about us men?  If you are a man mid 40s or older read the following symptoms carefully:

· Reduced or absent libido

· Weaker, smaller, less frequent erections, loss of penis size

· Muscle loss, weight gain, flabbiness, growth of “man tits”

· Hair loss

· Low energy, low motivation, lack of ambition or competitive spirit

· Irritability and mood swings (grumpy old man syndrome)

· Brain fog, memory loss

· Backache, joint pain

· Prostate problems, urinary frequency or diminished flow.

If this picture fits you in whole or in part, it is likely that you are experiencing male menopause (man-o-pause?) or Andropause as it is correctly termed.  You may think this is the inevitable onset of middle age decline, but there are specific reasons why these changes occur.

Most importantly there are effective safe and natural strategies to slow or even reverse them.  We can’t make you immortal, but with a little commitment on your part we can really make a difference.

Your masculinity, your sexual energy and indeed almost every aspect of your health, is dependent on healthy levels of male hormones, most particularly Testosterone.  From a high in our twenties, T levels decline steadily until by the time we are approaching 50 they begin to show a significant negative effect on our well being.  For most men this is when Andropause symptoms begin to appear. Although there are other factors, T levels are critical.

Why does this happen?  There are four main reasons:

· Tissues in the testes no longer manufacture T so well.

· The Pituitary Gland which is the master controller of our hormones may fail to signal the testes to produce enough T.

· We make may adequate T but it is in a “bound” form. This means it is inert and useless.

· T may transform into the female hormone Estrogen (E) .  Men need a little E but too much has lots of serious health consequences.  We are also being exposed to increasing levels of environmental pollutants which act like E in our bodies.

So, not enough usable T and too much E are the driving factors behind the Andropause.

As I have hinted before, the medical establishment hardly recognizes the Andropause, so has few solutions.  You can get T replacement therapy from private clinics, but it is expensive and may tie you into a life time dependence on replacement therapy.  It is better where practical to stimulate your body to rebalance its hormone levels naturally.

There is a wealth of knowledge, both traditional and scientific, about how to do this through natural supplements/herbs, diet, exercise and lifestyle changes.  And these approaches really do work!  However, when faced with the mass of conflicting information on the web, the hype, the hard sell, the vast range of products, the problem is knowing what’s reliable and what’s important.

This is where the Natural Virility Clinic can help.  We can look in detail at your health and circumstances and devise a personally tailored programme to optimize your hormone levels.  We have no financial interest in particular products, so only recommend things we know are right for you. We will also work closely with you on exercise, diet and lifestyle factors that can really make a difference.

At the end of a 3-month intensive you could be feeling like a new man.

After a year or so…….

Richard’s Story

Richard had always been a slim,  healthy, active man.  He ran his own business, kept fit and had many enthusiasms and interests.

As he entered his late 40’s things began to change.  He had had a difficult couple of years culminating in the death of a parent.  He began to feel tired, still working hard but wrecked at weekends; For the first time in his life he was acquiring a belly; He felt physically weaker and was aware that his muscles were growing thin and stringy; His sexual energy was low and there were worrying signs of urinary weakness.

Feeling himself about to slip over the edge into amorphous middle aged decline, Richard sought help from the Natural Virility Clinic.

He threw himself into his programme with a vengeance. He began taking a range of powerful herbs and supplements; he made some fundamental changes to his diet; and he embarked on a challenging regime of kettlebell weight training.

Within three months, the changes were astounding.  Fitness returned, the belly vanished, sexual energy increased. Most gratifying to Richard however was the surge in vitality and enthusiasm.  Richard was once again his true lively and creative self.
